When is the festival? 
October 25-26,  to make the most of the amazing spring weather in Kyneton. 

Where is KMF held?
Smaller and more intimate performances will be held on Friday the 25th of October at the Bluestone Theatre. Festival Day will be held on the 26th at St. Paul's Park, main entrance in the center of Piper Street.  Disabled access via laneway on Powlett St. More intimate gigs will also be on in Major Tom's, right next door to the main festival space. There is limited space in MT's so we cannot guarantee that you will gain entry

What to bring? 
Hat, sunscreen, warm clothes as it gets cold in Kyneton in the evening. Cash, although the bar and box office will have EFTPOS available. You can bring chairs & umbrellas.

Are kids free? 
Kids under the age of 12 are free when accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Those aged between 12 and 18 are able to purchase tickets at the child’s rate

Wheelchair and Pram Access? Wheelchair & Pram access is available on both the Friday & Saturday. Friday night access is available via Yaldwyn Street and Saturday access is available off Powlett Street. Accessible toilets are on site.

Can I bring my dog? 
Unfortunately no, guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed. 

Where can I park? 
The surrounding streets have ample parking available. There is also festival parking available at Organ's Coaches in Powlett Street. Just around the corner from the Festival. 

Can I BYO Alcohol? 
You are not permitted to bring alcohol into the Festival. To comply with Victoria Liquor Licensing laws, please be aware that bags will be checked by security at the Festival entrance. Only sealed or empty reusable bottles can be brought into the site.  The Festival has licensed bars for your drinking pleasure. We encourage the use reusable bottles for water and will have water stations at the festival.

What is there to eat?  We have some delicious food vendors on site and in the surrounding street. In the main festival space we have food trucks & right next door, Major Tom's. Piper Street also has a great range of cafes, bakeries, fine dining, bars and a pub. 

What if I don’t want to drive? 
There is a V-Line train line directly to Kyneton from Melbourne and Bendigo. Travel time is approximately 1 Hour from Southern Cross.

Getting Here

V-Line trains can get you to Kyneton for the festival.
On Saturday the 26th shuttle buses will meet the trains arriving in Kyneton between 11am and 3pm and drop you to the festival site. 

Getting Home

To help get you home KMF are offering a bus from Kyneton to Southern Cross Station for a small charge.                                                                                                                  The Bus will run on Saturday 26th.  Departing at 11:15pm. Book your spot through our ticketing link.

Kyneton Music Festival is run by a small but dedicated team of volunteers.

Over the festival weekend we have volunteering opportunities at the bar, box office, backstage and with set up & pack down crews.

All shifts are between 3-6 hours and in return you receive a festival weekend pass and our eternal gratitude and love.
